Sadly, I think I may need more than the month of November to read this book, lol. Life and other books keep getting in the way ad I’m only on page 10 😕
(with spoilers). I join the Re-read, caus "First king of shannara" was one of favorite books. At the moment I am in Paranor, where Mareth is showing her magical abilities by destroing the 2 renegate druids.What I like so far
- the charakter of Mareth. She is mysterious, weak and strong.
What I dislike
- the behavor of Athabasca. I do not think, that a leader like him would in a tense situation disregard the warning of Bremen, without taking any measures, even if he dislikes and distrustes Bremen.

You both are farther along than I. Kinson and Bremen are still outside Paranor 🤣 I do believe I will need a lot longer to read this again. Life keeps getting in the way. 😕
No problem. What are you thinking so far? What do you notice is diffent than in the first reading?
Hi Emma, yes, that is what I liked most. The way the persons are developing. I am beginning to know (and love) them very much and sometimes it is a shock when they are dying unexpectedly like Tay Trefenwyd.
