Segilola Salami (segilolasalami) | 405 comments Normally, I have a story played out and concluded in my head several times, so it doesn't take that effort (apart from finding the time to sit down and type) to write the book out.

But now, my characters are behaving like drunkards. Some needs to be re-born. At first she says she wants to be reborn in the future. Now she's been whispering that it may not be a bad idea to be born in the past.

Then a kitsune starts dancing in my eyes out of nowhere telling me she wants to be part of an African folklore story and picked the correct counterpart for herself to chat with.

A kitsune is mischievous right? Well so is Esu. Now I am tasked with finding a way to include Japanese folklore in Yoruba folklore before the end of the month.

Please check out my thinking process here http://www.segilolasalami.co.uk/heres... and let me know what you think. At this rate I would go 100% grey before the year is over. I'm already 35% grey as it is.

Many thanks

Quantum (quantumkatana) This is an excellent book on Japanese supernatural creatures, yokai, including kitsune. I own it And refer to it often.

The Book of Yokai: Mysterious Creatures of Japanese Folklore
