I've read this several times as well - it is not my favorite of the series, but the series itself is one of my favorites!

I have many, many issues. But heck, I am still curious as to why this won the Hugo award for best series, defeating The Expanse, so I am going to try the first Miles book.

Curious....what constitutes "obscene" number of times?

I lost count a number of years ago. Maybe 20 or so. I really like the Vorkosigan series and have come to appreciate the first two books more so than I did the first time around.

The novel is rather polarizing based on the ongoing discussion in the other group. People have different pressure points.
