Now that our read for November has been decided, it's time for everyone to nominate a book for our December 2017 read.

We are doing something a little different for 2017 monthly reads. Starting with January's read we are working our way backward in publication years :)

So - nominate a crime/mystery/thriller/suspense book which was published in 2005 for our December read. True crime or cosy mysteries are included in this :)

NOTE: Only the beginning of a series (if a series) please :)

This thread will be open until 10th November, then our nominations will go to the vote:) Good luck and have fun!

Authors and publishers, please don't nominate your own work!

MaryG2E (goodreadscommaryg2e) There's an AA crime novel that has been on my TBR list for ages, which I'd like to nominate. However, I fear it may have been read by almost everyone except me! First instalment of the Dr Anya Crichton series.

Rhondda (bibliokat) | 237 comments This is one that I have meant to read as a follow up to Jar City but have not managed to get to it. It is a Nordic novel that is about a cold case and the setting is of course bleak too. It will hopefully be the opposite to our December weather.

Rhondda, I'm sorry to say that #4 is a little far into the series for the nomination.. it certainly sounds like an excellent series though.
