Kelline | 5 comments I'm reading the series 3013 where fertile females are marked with a scroll & infertile with a star.

I don't recall reading this series, but the markings sounds familiar.

Are there any books/series with markings like this? or something similar?

Kelline, since you are looking for all books with this attribute, I'm moving this to Suggest books for me.

I'm not sure if you're asking for similarity to the symbols themselves or to the purpose of the markings, but Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series that starts with Kiss of Midnight has all the women who are able to reproduce with the alien-descended heroes marked with a crescent moon and star birthmark.

thank you for moving it for me, wasn't sure where to post

@Aerulan

Its the purpose of the markings I meant.

I'll check out Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series. I have read it before so its possible that's what triggered it.

There are a number of PNR's that use markings to "label" those that are possible life-mates. And of course--I've totally blanked on what books they are. (Looking helplessly at the 6k Nookbooks, 2K-Kindle books and 4K paper books laying around the house.) Sorry, I own a few books. And I've read one or two or (mumble 4k+) books, and those are just the ones that are listed on GR. I'd had a very active reading life before I joined GR, and I'm still finding books that I read long ago to add to the list.

Oh, and Sunny (a single name author, go figure) has a series where the "queens" are born with what they call "Pearls of the Moon" (I think that's what they call them--it's been more than a few years since I read the series) Mona Lisa Awakening is the first book in the series. To this day I'm not sure why I read the 3 books in the series I read. Although part of it probably has to do with the fact that they were so fricking hard to find, kind of like a treasure hunt.
