No quite on the clothing choice and as for the 'bible' all I have to say is, have you not seen 'Bruce Almighty'! ... There seems to be a bit too much duty and responsibility that goes with the authorship of that one for my liking :).

I wish I had written The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson. To this day it is one of my favorite YA novels that I have ever read. It is so touching and truthful, and every single sentence resonates with meeting. I suggest it to everyone, as it is a YA novel that everyone can enjoy!

A Midnight Clear by William Wharton. One of the most unusual books about war ever written. Great narrator, tragic ending. It's everything I wish I could write.

I wish I had written "The Good Earth" by Pearl S. Buck. It was one of the first books I borrowed from the library when I was in elementary school. After reading it, I dreamed of China and it was my wish to go there and I did. I lived in the Republic of China for almost three years.

I have to agree I wish I'd written the Harry Potter series :o) Strangely enough the other one was "Death of a President" by William Manchester.

What a simple answer too lol. You know they sell bibles at the dollar store? The essential book of our lifetime, in a cheap dollar store. I'm not hating on your dream of wishing you wrote it, just a mere observation. You'd be making a killing right now.

I wish I had written The Shining, maybe I wouldn't be so creeped out about it plus I really enjoy it. Also I wish I had written classics like Dracula or The Three Musketeers.

Firstly, the more writer-y response, as stated above, a lot of books that I'd been trying to write forever, but the true response: I wish I'd written 1984. I love the dystopian classics and that's one of the landmarks, so I think it would be nice to have left the stage with such a book under my belt. Though, even though it dosen't count, I wish I'd had the idea for A Song of Ice and Fire or The Brothers Karamazov.
