That's quite scary Tim, I think you should pay a gardener in the future.

I've just had to order an expensive laptop so I can work from the sofa, since it'll be some time before I can spend all day at a desk. So yeah, cost. A gardener would've been cheaper!
Patti, good tip about the probiotics - I'll be sure to get some in.
Gonna try making some eggs for breakfast, possibly with some ba...

Now I want some.
Doing a pork roast I got reduced to 2 quid for dinner, though. Better not do bacon for breakfast as well.
And yes, get more meds if it's not completely gone. You don't want to let the little buggers build up resistance.
Lovely sunshine today. Thank goodness as we've got a load of running round to do.
And more passport photos. Erg. Seems we need a bunch for our visas.

I second the probiotic advice, when they give you antibiotics in France the pharmacist always sells me ‘germs’. You can take them in increased quantities to stop the runs as well. My dog even had them last week.
Dentist later for me. Just a check up so fingers crossed that’s all he finds. ’

Sunny. Got a loaf rising. Baking a coffee cake later for tomorrow's Cake Club.

At last I have some news to put on this thread.
Apparently, No.1 daughter got engaged yesterday.

Congrats to David's daughter!
Glad you are feeling better, Tim. I would book an appointment now, you can always cancel it later when you are more sure that you don't need it.

Sushi for lunch!

That's so wonderful! Best wishes to all involved. Big step.

The pork roast is smelling so good! Making the kitchen a bit warm, mind.

Congrats to David's daughter and glad you are feeling better Tim.
GL is beating me senseless in wordfeud Patti

I love that game. So much I had to delete it. It was taking over my life.

I'm here. Just not feeling talkative at the moment.

Mine do, its a Lloyds. I can see it from the end of the street though, so seems cheeky. Glad they gave you another prescription though

Going to try some fish tonight . . .

That would be funny - the staff at mine know my name, they just get my prescription, and my neighbours as we pick each others stuff up! Chemist is a lovely Spanish lady who has a good sense of humour!
I did however have an electrician knock on the door before, he remembered what street to come to but not the house number!

Sorry to hear that

Always here for you, lovely friend.

Please say hi, I miss Anita

Had a busy day yesterday. Stayed up until 1 sewing a dress for Kathleen that I need to finish by next Wednesday, I should manage, so long as it fits! Prior to that I was fighting with my machine because it wouldn't pick up the stitches on the swim fabric I was using.
Feeling very bleary eyed this morning.
Hello to Anita and big hugs to GL
I hope everyone else is doing well.

Thanks for the daughter congrats. They've been together something like 13 years so far, so they don't appear to be rushing.
I've just been to Lidl and bought a pair of running shoes and a toilet brush - these purchases are not related to each other.

Have to go to the library and print off reams of paper today. I hope their system is working.
