Is this a legitimate series?

Hi all, I just noticed someone has put together a rather random series featuring eight books from eight different authors. I have to ask how/why these books would/could be made into a series, the authors certainly didn't collaborate with each other. If this isn't a true series, or shouldn't be, can we un-unify them? That was clearly not a series but a collection by some publisher. I deleted the series.
