setting and character

[Targhee]

Maze Runner is about a boy named Thomas and his crazy trial in this huge maze. When he gets there he is crowded with people. He realizes he’s in a total different place than home. He faces hardships in the maze and he sees things aren’t as they seem.

The setting takes place in a green, open, vast , and complicated maze. Where they live is called the glades and the glades in a open field where the live play and eat. The glade is surrounded by 4 big main walls and outside of that a exotic maze out there changing every day. The time period is about 2000.

The main character thomas is a 17 year old boy. He is a leader and has a big impact to everyone around him. He is a very curious boy and loves learning and he catches onto things very quickly. I think he relates to me some because of his traits is why i liked to book.

In conclusion i give the book a 9 out of 10. I give it a 9 because i wished they would of explained more about the outside world at the end. I think it would’ve fit better at the end of this book then making a second book but that’s just me. Overall the plot of the story was good and kept me reading and enjoying. If you like adventure and action i would suggest this book.

nice reflection but diagree with why you think they should have explained more about the outside world they had to leave you with a cliff hanger as they did. In the second book if you plan reading it, it explains whats happening to the outside world.
