Dhana Latchmi Mahesh (latchmigirl) | 55 comments She is simple girl with a disfigured hand, happen to meet a young boy / child and they become friends. The male lead is an average looking guy but a hard worker and loyal, becomes close to her.

I remember that a rich man who owns a mill or something and he may or may not be related to the young boy (heroine’s Friend), will ask the male protagonist to take care of his business when he is away and the heroine to take care of the household or something. The male protagonist dates a lot of women who all wants to be his wife.

There’s a scene where a beautiful girl is talking to the male protagonist and the heroine comes in to a room or something unknowingly. Can’t remember how the conversation goes but I kinda remember the pretty girl being nasty to our heroine and the hero sort of tells her off. And at the same time, he sort of either pretends the heroine is nothing to him or someone important (can’t remember which).

They also meet another handsome older woman who is running away or abused (something happened to her but I can’t remember what exactly) and that older woman becomes part of these family. Later in, the heroine finds out that this older woman woman is actually her Mother.
The rich owner of the mill and the older woman (heroine’s Mother) begin to like each other.

There’s also a part where the hero says to the heroine that she’s unwanted by anyone, no one will propose to her, and the heroine says someone already has several times or 3 times (which is actually her young Friend, the child and tells herself that the hero doesn’t need to know that fact).

At the end of the book,
A villain appears to rob the rich mill owner’s money off and the heroine snatches the bag and finds herself on top of a dangerously moving conveyor belt sort of thing. The hero shouts at her and tells her that he doesn’t care about the bag and he wants her save as he is in love with her, cannot be without her. She jumps off and lands on his arms and says she knows he’ll catch her no matter what and that’s why she jumped as he loves her.

Anyone knows the book?
