Old note, I'll have to recheck as it seems to be an error on my part HOWEVER I think that might be one of the Seanan McGuire works that is also available legitimately as a solo piece. Will need to check, but I think I have the link somewhere as I spent a while playing whack-a-mole with her anthology shorts that kept appearing separately.

Yes I know that - but that story wasn't one on that list, just one I found then on the authors profile so you couldn't have seen that :)

*nod* OK :) Michael, if you come across more while editing, do post here. I know there are other short-story serials with the same issue, plus many of the big SF/F anthologies that have this issue.

I think we also need to link to the bit of the policy regarding why those "published" on the website don't count as "published separately". I feel that's where a lot of this work is coming from - misguided belief that they're OK and even desirable to be added as individual works. Perhaps something like "Stories only published in MAGAZINE do not have their individual web pages count as separate publication" but with better English!!
I'll try to get some of these tomorrow, and then on Sunday as Saturday is going to be manic for me...!
