Clarkesworld & Lightspeed short story records

published in several anthologies - I took one of these already in the series

belongs in this anthology - even the link went to the ebook version on the baen HP - no possibility to read it there.
(added the ebook then .. before I saw all the other editions)

(combined it with that and not the mentioned on HP original anthology as the record seemed to be for the fantasy magazine issue)

There was in 2013. Baen used to have a huge library of their books available as free individual ebooks. While they are no longer available, they should NOT be deleted from the Goodreads database. They did meet our criteria when they existed.
Edit: The cover, however, does not belong to it.

ah ok, didn't know that but will remember it :) Thanks for the info.

(as that has quite a lot ratings someone doublechecking would be fine as I'm wondering about the amount of ratings ... was never so high on other of the short stories...)

Re #445 - It's OK to combine multiples and then list that they all need merging into the default or whatever. I don't mind and it's easier than waiting on one to go before doing the next combine and queue.
#447 Shedding Her Own Skin (Fantasy Magazine, November 2007. Reprinted in Love & Other Poisons, September 2014) - http://www.silviamoreno-garcia.com/bl...
Combined and merged into Love & Other Poisons as Fantasy Magazine doesn't have a Nov 2007 issue on Goodreads.

#456 - Combined with High Cotton: Selected Stories and queued for merge (evidence: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Co...)
#457 - Baen edition ignored
#458-461 Queued

SQ Mag have published end-of-year collections that have an ASIN that "Running Shoes" and other issues could be combined and merged with.

The Four Million Lost on Dress Parade, to merge

Oooh they're hard but I have a nasty feeling they'll count as not valid as a group unless Tor decides to publish them formally somewhere. As stories, Tor online fiction is (usually?) valid, because they're freely available to all, but their articles are not "books" per Goodreads.

The ebooks are also posted individually, not as part of a larger publication. (They are also often released as Kindle editions and via Smashwords, as well as on their site.)
The articles are not books, though.
Edit: The ones I looked at were ebooks, not articles. Did not have time to look at all of them, but in this case it looks like it may be the "group" that was not published by Goodreads standards, rather than the ebooks. Not clear if there was a downloadable group version of all of them together, or where that cover came from.

I don't think the "group" record is any more valid than some of the spurious series entries we get. I'd also presume that they'd be more a Listopia than a series since if they're ever released elsewhere they wouldn't necessarily be part of Tor's grouping here. Tor calls them a series (here) but I'm interpreting that as a limited publisher imprint.
I think this is my least favourite type of merge/delete as something is going to get lost for someone if they've grouped all their reviewing together.
I agree, but I think it needs merging. Into the first of the stories, I guess, unless something better can be thought of?

I can't think of anything better. I'm going offline for a few hours, so if no one has come up with a better idea by this evening when I'm back on, I'll merge into the first story.

oh "The Things" look like ... fun... :)

EDIT:
Elizabeth, the short has an award attached, but is now attached to the Italian translation. Should it be moved to the CW issue (#40)?

I apologize. I haven't been following. Are you saying there is not a valid separate edition? If so yes, it should go to the Clarke's World edition. Can you post a link for me? I'll take care of it.

Looking at it, it looks like it's just on twice. I'll leave it to you to decide which should have it (Italian single or English anthological compilation).

The new policy that clarifies how we're to handle awards for short stories says it should be on the single story when possible. I'll delete from the Clarkesworld, but add it to the description.
Edit: and done!

(is that "A" a real name? or just a initial and needs a period?)

there are two awards added to the story, which is why I didn't combine yet

The Pushcart Prize is listed among the awards on GR, but I can't actually find any list of winners anywhere. I can't find announcements, etc. even at their website: http://www.pushcartprize.com/pushcart...
I have chosen not to delete the award, but I'm uncomfortable adding to it.
