Sweet | 14 comments Hello.
A fairy will loose her job?? And this is her last chance to give a couple their HEA.
So she arranges for an architect with a scarred face to come and build the island's chapel. His school sweetheart is there and she arranges for them to meet.

The girl's mom wants her to marry a very rich older mom.

Sweet, around what year did you read this book?

Can you tell us more about the main characters - the heroine's job, does she live on the island, how he became scarred, why they separated, etc.?

Sweet | 14 comments The heroine doesnt work. She is with her mother on the island for a vacation and her mother wants her to marry that rich guy friend of hers.
the hero was scarred when a wall fell on him while he was working.
This fairy wants to give the hero and the heroine a HEA.
They meet on the beach and he hides her face from her.
They have night walks without showing her his face.

They were separated because he was poor and the mother didn't agree.
Years later he is really successful and very bright.

I cannot remember more

I am guessing maybe around 2010 or so. Not sure. But not an ancient book.
