@Diana...yeaaaap it prompts you to join GGG. Lift: I hate her as a secondary character as well as a primary character. I'm hoping that by her book, she'll have matured some, since it'll be 16+ years after Oathbringer. It's the only way she can be bearable to me.

I bought the jumbo Shallan sketching off the side of the shattered plains print for my office. It's gorgeous. I was going to actually try to cross stitch it but there's only so many of one design that you can have in your house.

There's a website where you can put in a pic and it converts it to a cross stitch pattern. I've already laid out 8 sanderson bookmarks and one large print i'm going to make for jordancon next year.

For something like the Shallon pic, would you maximize color usage? I know it runs the risk of buying a color for just a few spaces, but I think the end result might be worth it. Thoughts? I already have quite a few of the colors, so hopefully I won't have to buy many more.

I normally follow the chart the website gives me, Niki. I can always reuse the leftovers for other projects later on. :)

Sorry, I wasn't really clear what I was asking. When you're making your initial chart selection on this website, you can pick the base number of colors at 60 or up the number of color accuracy anywhere from there to 130. I was wondering if it was worth adding that many more for the extra nuance it adds to the finished product. I'm sure any extra floss I get will be used at some point haha.

I did 60ish colors. Some of the ones where you barely use any I was planning on just consolidating, but for a picture so bland (it's basically just brown stone) I think the color details are important. I just bought a giant 250 color (used, so some don't have too much thread left) box on ebay. I'm hoping to use those for projects which require just a little of certain colors.

Sorry, answering as I read it. I tried upping the colors to see if it made a difference, but I didn't think the difference was noticeable past 60.
