Normally I'd be all over that for the comment count. ;)
I'm out of commission until at least next Monday. I'm okay if you want to just start the thread in either the stand alone or hodgepodge folder. Just let Margret know on the master list and request it to be added to the bookshelf as well.

I know, the curse of a reader! This is a quite unique series, I found. Primarily because of the crusade (and Western and Mideastern vibes) but not only. I feel that is a different story, with characters with development and a unique world.
Thanks for the spreadsheet update! Highly appreciated!

Well done team! So many contributions at all times! I am hoping to add a but more in the next days (also because I will be on a fairly long flight on Sunday) and I will have no internet at the beginning of next week!
With all those contribution, we passed 2000 points :DI'm reading documents for a new construction project. So far, I've read 650 pages in 2 days. I kind of wish I could count 'em for the challenge xD

I actually have the first book in the series and I never really put it on top of my TBR. I guess that at this point it's a must!

Glad you liked it, Miche. I'll be starting on book five this weekend.
Niki Hawkes wrote: "She's my spirit animal."
She's awesome, I love her! And the narrator for the audiobook, though male, delivers her lines superbly, lol.
The Expanse is another series I really want to read...Stop being awesome and read amazing books, team! My TBR can't take it! :p
I know what you mean. I'm trying to figure out how to read all the things but still make time to catch up to the Malazan read lol.
Niki Hawkes wrote: "How was six of crows? Did you read the grisha trilogy beforehand?"I read the Grisha trilogy and Six of Crows. I like the first book of the trilogy, it was unique, then it flattened for me. Yet, it makes sense to read the Grisha trilogy before, else Six of Crows will spoil the trilogy for you.
Six of Crows is interesting but it felt to me like a "cheap" version of the Lies of Locke Lamora. With a heavy YA sin: Adults are always significantly dumber than teenagers.
Said so, it is an interesting read that you can use as a buffer between more "serious" reads. At least this is how I would use it.
One more book for the challenge!Title: Elantris

Thank you Virginie! I know I can always rely on you!
Niki Hawkes wrote: "How was six of crows? Did you read the grisha trilogy beforehand?"Didn't read the Grisha trilogy first. I heard there's a love triangle in this series... *shivers with horror*
Six of Crows was quite good. Full of YA tropes but still entertaining. I haven't read Lies of Locke Lamora so I can't really compare.
@Aristea: I used it to help me get back to my normal 'reading pace'. Felt a little burnt out so I needed an easy and fun read :)
Thanks you two. I couldn't tell you if I actually finished the second book in Grisha because I was so bored. Was wondering how they compares.

Go with starting the buddy read in 2 weeks maybe, so people can try and get their hands on it?:
[ book:Bookburners: The Complete Season 1|29238781] -- April 6th (some people in another group that read anthologies liked the idea of reading them on the weekend, so I set the start date for a friday)
Then, someone suggested breaks to allow people to catch up, and so we weren't running 16 weeks straight:
Episode 1 - April 6th
Episode 2 - April 13th
Episode 3 - April 20th
Episode 4 - April 27th
Episode 5 - May 11th
Episode 6 - May 18th
Episode 7 - May 25th
Episode 8 - June 1st
Episode 9 - June 15th
Episode 10 - June 22nd
Episode 11 - June 29th
Episode 12 - July 6th
Episode 13 - July 20th
Episode 14 - July 27th
Episode 15 - August 3rd
Episode 16 - August 10th
At this pace, the series should last us awhile... this first season has an audiobook, but seasons 2-3 don't... I think they're working on a 4th season right now...
Reminder, each episode is about 50 pages...
