Gone question

People are saying that this is a (pale) copy of Stephen King's "Under the Dome". It was actually written first, but I believe "Under the Dome" is good - haven't read it though. Have you seen the "Cube" movies? Lol

Also have you read The Dead And The Gone by Susan Beth Pfeffer? Some of the imagery is quite dark (perhaps not as innocent as Gone) but it's a great read worth a try! :)
