Just started this today. I am through the first few chapters. It is much easier to read than I was anticipating and so far I am very interested to find out more about this family. I really like the father!!

The dad is one of my favourite characters too. I'm about half way. right now.

Public ball (view spoiler)[ I get suck an icky feeling with Mr Darcy at this point. What a rude pompous jerk. Her mom is quite the character. I admit I would be embarrassed with a mom so focused on marrying off her daughters, but it was a different culture back then (hide spoiler)]

Charlotte (view spoiler)[ is one of my favourite characters. She hovers in the background, but she never seems to be jealous or judgmental of the Bennet girls. she is just a great friend and speaks the truth. Even though shes a bit older than lizzie I like their friendship and that charlotte is humble and happy with what she has in life over waiting for something great to happen in her life. the audio book was good. I borrowed the works of jane austen volume 2 from the library. I had to search a bit to find where it starts- I think its part 4. It was interesting because There was sometimes music playing at different parts which I;ve never had in an audio book

I have listened to audiobooks with music in parts. I always thought it was interesting but am still undecided if I actually like the addition.

morning :) I liked it in these books since they are classics it seemed to fit. Im not sure I'd like it in more modern books

the one I can recall off the top of my head is 'if I stay' and it kind of fit because the mc was a classical musician.

Was this a library audio or audibles? I may switch to audiobook to finish it.
