If you've already read books 1-3 of the Potter series, please join Mandiann, Suzy, John, and me as we read the 4th one.

I'm starting this tomorrow (7/14) and plan to read about 50-57 pages a day so I can finish it by the end of July for my copycat challenge but I still want time to read my other books. Are you ready to start? I know how behind you are and I am too but I do have to get his monster book done. LOL
LOL, no not even close but I have read this one many times so I can just skim it and catch up next week.
I started this one today. I am audiobooking it. Through the first five chapters. While I do love how Rowling always does a great reintroduction to the wizarding world so that any book can be picked up without reading the proceeding ones, I felt this one was a bit long. As always, I really love the foreshadowing. Chapter one was amazing with this. DO NOT READ IF READING BOOK FOR FIRST TIME!!! (view spoiler)
I'm so sorry for being such a poor buddy this month! I won't give you all of my reasons, but please accept my apology.I will be starting on this today...slowly. I was supposed to read it for a copycat challenge but ended up changing my book because I just couldn't get this one read on time. My bad!
Mandiann, I (emphasis) am the one who is sorry! I've just had so much going on and so many books to read, when I picked up that monstrosity I didn't have it in me to read it yet. I kept choosing other books.I'm glad you finished it! :o)
I have other books I have been avoiding. since I have read this one before it is a comfort book and easy to pick up instead of other unknown entities.
60% done... up till now I have no idea at all of who's the evil one. I have a few guesses, but the writing is 100% not predictable, which is great! Er... with the exception of one scene: the Goblet of Fire selection. I was pretty sure Harry was going to be part of the tournament, otherwise why would she write about the tournament? :P Nice try, JK Rowling.
No, I never had a chance to because I had to take it back. I'm SO SORRY!!! I'll see if i can recheck it out now. I'ts been awhile so hopefully so. Can we set the next one out a bit? Please? I'll try to be a better buddy! LOL ("Try" being the operative word!) :o)
