What did you think of Benjamin the donkey?

I think Benjamin had a demeanor that suggested he understood what was happening. Almost like he had seen this situation happen before. I think his attitude towards life was also very revealing of his character, he would always state things exactly as they were. He was overall one of my favorite characters.

Yes, I have the same feelings about him. He's more like the wise animal of the farm, knowing probably that nothing can be done to alter the situation and thus deciding to not get involved too much.
