I loved book 2, but unlike most, I didn't like book 3. Hope you love them all!!!!

CANNOT WAIT!

and i hate that a lot of people can't see its beauty"
I agree! It's the best in the series!

yay someone else

And I think they did a good job with the movies so far as well, what do you guys think?

The movies are really good too, but I like the books better. The movies are a little different from the books, and I think reading the books beforehand helped. I am hoping that Part II changes a few things from MockingJay though.

I finished the series around summer of last year. It's the first series that I actually brought and completed so far.
I agree with you! Catching Fire was really slow for me, and not much happens until half way into the book. I'm also one of the few who loved Mockingjay too~ I'm waiting until they finish all the Hunger Games Movies so I can do a marathon movie night. I did, however, watched Hunger Games when it first came out.

i really enjoyed hunger games - #1 - and sped right into Catching Fire - which i felt was a bit of a bridge -slow build, nothing uber unexpected and all that and for me, thankfully i already had my hands on Mockingjay but i think that the 2nd time i read CF - i found that it was better and i had missed a bit of the conversation and character development within the story the first time.
by the time i got through the finale - i was really hoping that we'd get another installment or an anthology or epilogue that would put even more closure. i'm a fan of the fast forward into the future to see things, but i feel like i wanted MORE.
i can't wait to see how they wrap it up in the movie next week though since you know that they can't be prescriptive to the book at this point especially since they've broken it up into 2 parts.

i feel like thats part of the point. early on the relationship has no basis escept the fact that they just dont want to die, especially on katniss' end.

i love most often i hear people say they didnt like mockingjay that much because of the politics meanwhile me, a whole 12 year old, liked it the most, and decided its my favourite book ever

The older I get, the more I appreciate Peeta as a love interest, and I'm into the politicking more as well. I'm probably influenced by thinking Peeta and Haymitch would make a good team in the "Game of Thrones." Or, at least a fun one, because Haymitch is fabulous.
