So how do I handle the page count? & should this edition be separated out, since it contains extra material?

In previous cases where there is just a bonus story to the main book I was told to keep them together. In this case it also makes sense to me to keep them together, esp. since the additional content is an alternate ending.

I would put the total of the page count. I would also add a note in the description and a librarian note (in case of default description overwriting the information).
