It maybe an Usborne or Scolastic title from the 90's?
It was a big, beautifully, dark fantasty type illustrated adventure where, I think 3 people from the cursed village go to find the evil Wizard to undo the curse and get their "doos" back - also I think the last page had them all escaping in a coal cart, and they had ridiculous hair.
Thats all I can remember at the moment, any help would be greatly appreciated!
