Terri FL (territhemuse) | 615 comments Hi, sorry, another question. For option 3, as long as there is one inanimate object that won't fit in a box, does it matter if there is another inanimate object that would fit in a box? Like for instance, if you have a house (the object to fit the task), but, there is a small flower-pot on the porch that would fit in the box.

Hi Terry, just one object that meets the requirement is needed even if there are others that don't.

Hi again, I've noted the genre of Fantasy for this. It looks like something I'd read. Let me know how you like it. I may have to add it to my own list.

And please verify The First Book of Swords for Fantasy. (I don't think it's going to drop off, but just in case...)

Thanks

Alycia (alyciac) | 212 comments Wanted to check on the lamppost on this cover for option 3:
A Conspiracy in Belgravia (Lady Sherlock, #2) by Sherry Thomas

I don't think it would fit in a box, but it depends on the size of the box. Will it work?

Hi Cindie, I don't see 'Science' as a mpg for that book. I'll check again tomorrow to see if it pops up.

Bea My three books:
Option 1 - Liver Let Die (no B, O, X in title)
Option 2 - Celestial Chess (MPG = Fantasy)
Option 3 - The Last Time I Saw Paris (Eiffel Tower)

I am pretty sure that my first and third books work for their options, but could you please verify the second book for Fantasy? Currently there are only 3 users.

message 69: by Donna (new)

Donna | 1271 comments Hi Bea, the genre for your opt. 2 book has been noted. Your opt. 1 and 3 choices work as well. Happy reading.

Hi Wanda, I'll accept your statue. At first I thought it was just a picture, but in the jacket blip it specifically said it was a bust of Nefertiti so it is a go. Enjoy.

Thanks!

Bryony (bryony46) | 350 comments Would this book work for option three as it shows sky? I initially thought sky wouldn’t count, but then I saw ocean is listed as an example object so I figured perhaps sky would be okay too?

There’s also a parasol and table in the foreground, though I guess if you had a box large enough they would fit in!

Hi Bryony, I don't think sky will work. It isn't really an object. You can't touch it, handle it, feel it. You can't take a piece of it. I'll double check with the mods and let you know if my ruling changes. Sorry Bryony.

message 81: by Bryony (new)

Bryony (bryony46) | 350 comments No problem, thanks for letting me know. It was actually an interesting question as I ended up debating with myself what defines an object if the sea is an object but the sky isn’t (which is what I thought)....can you tell I like science books too?

Anyway, I’m sure I can find another book that works for this task. :-)
