Hi MelindaCould you provide links for the White Raven Award. I have found one for the LIANZA Award. :)

Thanks Melinda - thought the name White Raven sounded familiar.
To me this looks like a selection rather than an actual award. To go in the award field there has to be a clear winner. But I can put it in the description for you if you like. :)
Also, for future reference, link to your books on GR make things a little quicker for Librarians. :)
Hmm, I guess if it doesn't make the award criteria it would be nice to have it in the description. Thank you. Also Fuzzy Doodle was a finalist for the 2017 NZ Children's and Young Adults Book Awards for Best Picture Book, and for the Russell Clark Award. Do short-listings get included or no? Cheers, Melinda

I'll look at the other awards later on. :)
& congratulations, btw! :)

The Russell Clark one isn't a problem, but the website is quite confusing & I'm trying to find exactly what the picture book award is called now - since some of the awards show LIANZA & some don't.
See here https://my.christchurchcitylibraries....

Have you received a certificate with this award? What exactly is it called on the certificate? I have to be sure because it affects the way quite a few books are listed here.
& yes short lists are fine - but a link please.
The NZ Children's and Young Adults Book Awards has kind of absorbed the LIANZAS. The relevent link is here and should show both Picture Book Award and Russell Clark Finalists for 2017 http://www.nzbookawards.nz/new-zealan...

It's a bit hard to find, but there is a list of all the awards on Goodreads.

Have a good evening!
Prior to 2016 the LIANZAS were separate to the NZ Children’s and Young Adults book awards so they were two different things. Now there is only the one set of Awards sadly

I think 2014 was the last year NZ Post sponsored the awards :(. They are now unbranded although Hell Pizza transferred some of their support from the LIANZAS to the NZCYA Book Awards. The Storylines Awards are all still going

The Storyline..."I have to say, speaking only as a volunteer librarian on GR, I prefer unbranded. When the sponsor keeps changing it gets really confusing. My instinct is to keep anything marked as New Zealand Childrens as that & LIANZA as LIANZA . (Originally I changed the Russell Clark to have a LIANZA prefix but changed my mind.
Hi Carol - thanks for all your help with this. I can see how branding can become problematic. I've just had a look at the update and there are just a couple of wee tweaks needed. As much as I wish Fuzzy Doodle had won the Russell Clark award, it was just a finalist. And A Winter's day in 1939 was a Junior Fiction finalist (not YA) at the LIANZAs and won overall Librarians Choice (https://natlib.govt.nz/blog/posts/con...). Many thanks
Hi Melinda - I've corrected the award for Fuzzy Doodle (sorry about that) With the LIANZAS - it is going to take me a few days as there will be quite a few awards to enter I think. I'll separate your book out for now, but unfortunately the award was originally entered as being a YA award on GR, so I entered the Librarian's Choice one as another category. But I'll look into it further later in the week. :)

I would like some awards added for two of my books. Please add 'Librarian's Choice, LIANZA Awards (2014)' for my book 'A Winter's Day in 1939' and White Raven (2017) for 'Fuzzy Doodle'. Thank you
