A question that's plagued me about Aelin

Does anyone else believe Aelin may have been aware within herself before Throne of Glass she would have to make a claim of her title to ensure the world was fixed or all she did as an assassin simply was pure luck to obtain the aid she has needed?

I have yet to read The Assassin's Blade, so if it has answers to my question then please say so without giving it anyway.

My question came to me while getting a fourth way through ToD because as we know Maas tends to hint at certain points pages or books before we are even thinking about such a thing (example: Feyre painting the night sky on her drawer in the cottage before she was even aware of Tamlin, Rhys, or what was occurring in the Fae lands). Aelin helped Yrene, she was even mentioned a few times in previous books without name, and we know without Aelin Yrene would have never been able to escape to make it to the Torre. Does this mean Aelin took the time to aid someone who had been wronged and could be of use if she decided to come out of the shadows or was it Aelin caring for those who were wronged by the King's actions to rid of magic and the action itself happened to come into her favor when Chaol was harmed? I've wondered this about those who have come to her aid now who she had only been known as Celaena to.

As scared as she has shown to be, did Aelin plan on rising to her throne?

I would like to say yes. She had to have known at some point she would need to take her place even if it was after the death of the king and Dorian took his own seat. Let us say she never was taken from the mines in the first place and she was able to somehow live through the pain until the king died (let's say someone got lucky enough to behead him for whatever reason), the camps are closed, Aelin is free and so is magic once more somehow, I think she would have come out of hiding. There would have been a lot of explaining still as to how she was in the mine and how she came to become an assassin, but I want to think if it all played out in a different way she would've stated her right to be queen.
