Hi Helen, yeah enjoyed that one thanks, can't think who it reminds me of. Also quite enjoying Sera's one too, the chorus sounds a bit like 'Gimme Shelter'.
One that I thought was going to be good from the moment the guy started singing , is the single 'The Tower' by the Brazilian band,The Knutz. This is a Bauhaus soundalike band, unfortunately I found the song rather dull.

Nephimily is always good. and great name for your baby goth girl... Nephilimy Eldritch... Vocalist is trying too hard but at least sounds genuine rather than aimimg for imitation. And sleep is definitely better than prayer, so that's good then.

I liked the way the first track started and his voice on that one, but the song didn't develop as it should have........like you said, it was rather dull in the end.

Liked the Cold Cave track, had a similar beat to Sisters Of Mercy's 'Lucretia', and also liked The Rope's 'Clockwork', but couldn't take Qual seriously. Didn't like the Istropia tune, she sounded like she was in pain.

The Blind Delon song was ok but the PAWNS song was spot on, really enjoyed it.I already have 5 songs for the Cream of 2019 so far and this is taken from the list. Not particularly dark, but has a nice gnarly bass line going on.

Anyway, I have found a genius(!) 8-bit version of The Sisters of Mercy's "Alice". (Sera, I think you'll like it 😉). I would love to suggest "chiptune" as a theme for the nom/vote threads but I don't think there'd be many participants. Oh well.

Very strange. miserylab version is much better, this seems like... diet goth, goth lite? Wonder why he brought back the Rosetta Stone name if it isn't going to be as full on.
