At the moment I'm reading Walter Tevis The Queen's Gambit - I want to finish it befor going on with the Netflix series - and Paola Masino Nascita e morte della massaia, a book written in the 40s of last century that I have to confess I'm not particularly liking, and listening tovEleanor H. Porter Mary Marie

How is it Sandy?

I closed the book. Maybe another time. I need a break. My apologies for that last "review." It was disrespectful. It's that time of the month, and I am moody. Once again, my apologies.

It took me a little longer to get into than The Rules of Magic but it turns out to be every bit as magical and enchanting ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I've started yesterday Falling - and I really like tha way this writer writes!!!
At the same time I'm listening to The Neverending Story and reading L'Agnese va a morire, an Italian book on the "resistenza", the movement that, especially in northen Italy but not only, opposed to the Nazi occupation of our country, as well as against the fascist government of Salò Repubblic.
We have several novels on this topic; this is one of the dearest to me; read only once when at school, it's hight time I read it again - also considering that my grandfather was a partisan

It's wonderful thanks Christine. ❤📚
How are your three books?

They were both really good thanks Christine. I am glad that you enjoyed your book too. ❤📚

I know the title is a play on Three Men in a Boat--do you know if the story is as well?

I haven't read Three Men in a Boat, Karin, but now I am curious....

It's a classic. There is also another book written after called Three Men on the Bummel. Both are by Jerome K. Jerome.

Thanks Karin. I am going to the library today so will see if they are available. ❤📚
