Dave Barry Is Not Taking This Sitting Down Reading this. Some articles are hilarious, while others have aged out of being relevant. Overall an enjoyable way to fill small bits of time.

I am half-way through Middlemarch, my Big Summer Read for 2020. A re-read for me. I forgot what a control-freak Eliot could be. Still, I already know that I will award this classic 5 stars after finishing. There's just something I love about this book.

I loved the book - not a masterpiece of writing but, for me, a masterpiece of getting you to feel all kinds of varying emotions as the story progresses. And, having watched the TV series (which was excellent) I am keen to read the book again!
