What are you doing right now? Part 2

Here is some trivia about fall I have learned that I didn't always know--the first is something I learned earlier this month when checking out sunrise/sunset times, etc.
The "equinox" never falls on the day marked on the calendar and falls on different days in the southern hemisphere than the northern! In the spring it comes earlier than is marked and in the autumn, later. It was Sept 25 this year and wasn't precisely 12 hours of a day everywhere, but the closest to even it will get.
Also, even though we start fall officially on the calendar equinoxs, average temperatures, etc actually put it starting on Sept 1.
Back at work after a very long week end: yesterday in Italy it was bank holiday and my Municipality closed on monday!

Congratulations! It's always so exciting to have a new baby in the family!

At the moment I'm working as secretary for the Deputy Mayor for Culture since his former one has gone working for the National Gallery of Umbria. And I also have to do my job!!!

That sounds fascinating

Oh my Laura! Sending good wishes your way and hoping things get less difficult for you. Having to do your old job as well as all these new responsibilities at the same time must be stressful!!

So sorry to read of your family issues. I hope developments in the New Year bring you some calm and comfort.

That is a whole lot Ruth! I hope things get better - sending warm thoughts your way!
There are mental health and alcohol issues with more than one of my family members too - it's tough when people you love do self-destructive things that there's no way to stop. I love my family very much, but they don't always make things easy. When I was a young adult, I just separated myself and tried to put it out of my mind, but it's harder to do that now that I'm older. I wish so much that they could have more happiness or at least some peace.

Oh no Laura!! I'm glad it was a short day at least!
Things have been sort of falling apart at my work lately with one key engineer retiring and another permanently out for medical reasons. The work load is tremendous!
