You are welcome John! I went and edited my responses to add a few including The Last Unicorn to bump it up! 😁

I'm kinda bummed that Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell slipped below the line. I really want to reread that.
I voted for two in the current top 12. I will probably read some of the less popular titles that I own and hope that some of my mid-list picks will win in the next vote.
I recalibrated my votes slightly, and added a few more books and... still don't have one in the top tier. Missing the zeitgeist like a pro. I have three in the second rank now, so that's good!
Now only 3 in the top 12 that I haven't read and quite of a few of the others I have no desire to re-read.
We're up to 100 responses but I dont have time to type them up tonight. REMINDER: Voting ends tomorrow night! I'll get the schedule up this weekend.

Well, you guys made it super easy on us this time by voting for shorter books with a nice average of 644 pages per month. Edwin and I put our metaphorical heads together and here's the schedule! I spread the dystopias out as much as possible and put happy/fun books as the second books those months, if possible.Handmaid's Tale - Jan 15
Armada - Jan 15
Neverwhere - Feb 15
The City & the City - Feb 15
Fahrenheit 451 - March 15
Good Omens - March 15
Man in the High Castle - April 15
Fifth Season - April 15
Ender's Game - May 15
Last Unicorn - May 15
Brave New World - June 15
Old Man's War - June 15
Thanks, Sarah!Nothing for me on the schedule until April. I am thinking of reading Regarding Ducks and Universes and Childhood's End at some point in the first few months of 2018.
Sarah wrote: "Nice! Thank you. There’s at least one in almost every group I’d like to read."I second this.
Thanks for putting this together.I may have read Brave New World & Fahrenheit 451 before but there was no Goodreads for tracking my reading in the 70s, so I am not sure. Imagine a world with no internet and the only books to read were what was found in the school library.
The University here also had an extension library where they would mail out books to rural areas. We also got books from there. Once a year we would go through the catalog and make a list of books we were interested in. The staff would then pick from the list and add books they thought we might like to send out a box of books once per month, which we would send back in a months time. I started making out the list, because when my father did it we would mostly get westerns.
Reading those 12 books in 6 months should be easy, but chances are I will get distracted by other reading and not get all of these finished.
I have WAAAY to much on my TBR list to be doing re-reads but I am hereby committing (publicly - you know what they say about accountability) to Neverwhere and Last Unicorn!
I’m going to try to join in for February’s books since those are the two I haven’t read. I also have a gigantic tbr pile so rereads are out.

Mine has taken on a life of its own. I have a little over 1k in the TBR

But you'll have admit one thing; with a list that long you won't have a problem with what to read.

You can't die if you have books to read. Well maybe.
Sort of morbid, but have you gotten to the point where you check your average reading speed against your estimated lifespan? I had to do that earlier this year. I am trying to keep my TBR under 3 years of reading to do. More than that feels like a frightening commitment. The good news is it seemed to put the fear of not finishing all my beloved books into me, and nearly tripled my reading for the year! I hope I can keep this up.
Allison I frequently feel like I’m trying to ‘catch up’ on my fiction reading which seems silly....but I really do feel ‘behind.’ I blame twin babies...I don’t think I read for a few years! I was just a cow. So I missed so much!

Yeah. I hear you. I had 9 consecutive years of going to school and working full time where I could only read for myself on vacations. Dismal. But you're finding time! You're making it work!!

I've done that Allison. Even if I read 200 books per year, which I can't, and I live another 30 years, it's only 6000 books. This is why I DNF. I have no patience with books I'm not enjoying. And now I've gone back to work and I'll be lucky to read 30 per year. So maybe 1000 books in my lifetime? And I own 6-700. Ugh.

So I would like to think that I will keep on proving them wrong. LOL.

heehee! Well then I have faith you'll finish your entire TBR, cause clearly you'll live forever!

Time can be quite precious. It used to be if I mad it past chapter 2 of a book I’d finished it no matter what, but now I have a second job and I find I am soo much more willing to abound on a book.
I’m hoping to join in for a reread of Ender’s Game. I also plan on finally reading The Last Unicorn. I’ll join in for others I haven’t read before if I can acquire a copy of the book cheaply.

Sarah Anne wrote: "This is the first time this side group has done Last Unicorn :)"The Last Unicorn will be a re-read for me as I read it back years ago when I was in High school along with the Hobbit series
About half of them are re-reads for me and the other half are new. I will focus primarily on the new ones, but there is only one re-read that I don't have much interest in, so it will be interesting.
