This one was great. Not really surprising as Abraham has become one of my favorites. I liked the twist how the old woman was the power/had the weapon he was looking for all along.

I started out liking the main character and disliked them by the end, and feel like they got what they deserved. That's an impressive feat in such a short story.

You're right it did have a good twist but this never really grabbed me for some reason.

Unacceptable! You must agree with me! I think this or CJ Cherryh's story are my favorite of the anthology.
