Patience woman!
I've had to go down the shops to get black pudding and tomato sauce :)
And biscuits.
AND sugar!

Oh yeah, that's about right - I'm out driving all night and when I get home I have to start doing a proper job! :)
Obviously, I don't expect guests to lift a finger but Phoebe should know better :)

No? - I think we've run out of Harrumph! ;o<
Hows about a combination of Mindblowing Metallic Mauve and Vamp Vixen Violet? ... as they'll both beautifully compliment the colour of your new Car! ;o>
Talking of the car, I've got to go in to the showroom tomorrow to tell them that I want to withdraw from the finance package they put together for me (as I have the right to do within 14 days of signing) and instead finance it through my bank as they can offer the same amount with repayments that are £45 per month cheaper!
It probably won't go down too well as I assume that someone is on commission for selling that financial package, but I've got to do what's best for my bank balance.

Especially over 48 months!
That's a lot of cauliflower cheeses :)

And NO! - she STILL hasn't 'been' yet!!! ;oO
Proving them right shows real commitment :)
Right;
It's time to close the curtains and shut out all that sun :)

If she's not used to it by now .... :)
What a grey day.
It's not cold out there, compared to overnight lows of zero, but the sun is doing a good job of hiding :)
Dinner (meatballs, mash and gravy) has been cooked, eaten and the resulting mess cleared away. Mrs Grizzly has been waved off to work so I can now sit down and relax for a bit :)

Well, I've been in and out all day and, although none of my Appointments were particularly fun ones, it got me out and about and seeing Fields and Hills instead of just our Back Garden.
Mitz is doing really well, and Tia ... well? ... there's a look and a feeling of fragility about her that apparently only I seem to be aware of - but I'm trying my best not to give in to feeling scared for her or to allow myself to be overwhelmed with sadness because we know what is coming, it is what it is, and what will be will be.
I'm struggling somewhat with what my Dr calls 'fibro fog' at the moment and have only just remembered, then forgot, then remembered again that it's Mother's Day on Sunday! ... ARRRGGGHHH!!!
My all-time favourite local Florists always gets SO incredibly busy with so many Orders and Deliveries but, as soon as they knew that it was me, they immediately said no problem and that they could still just about make the time to fit me in ... WHEW! ... and bless them! It just wouldn't be Mother's Day (for me never mind for Mum!) without a uniquely spectacular Bouquet of the freshest and most beautiful Flowers put together by John or Janet ;o>

Mum's just headed off to pick it up so it's time for me to sing the 'Chippy-Chippy-Chip-Chip' song to Tia who is already waiting by the Front Door.

I'm off to work with my salad pittas and fruit and am going to spend the whole night thinking about the chicken curry and chips I'm now going to have to make for dinner tomorrow, being as you've put the idea in my head.
Thanks for that, suzy :)
(I'd best get the chicken out the freezer)

Went to the pub t'other day and as I walked onto the beer garden, I slipped in some dog do and fell on me backside. After I'd got up and sorting meself out, a bloke came out and also slipped in the dog do. I said "I just did that" and he hit me.
The old uns are the best, no?

No obvious reason? - she apparently couldn't sleep and decided she wanted company. Every time I went back upstairs and lay down ... I'd wait ... and within 10 minutes there would be an ohhh-so-soft yet hopeful little "Uff?" coming from the Hallway ... followed by a series of Woofs getting ever louder and more insistent if the last one was ignored!
I've had ... I want a wee, I need a cuddle, can I have a fresh bowl of water? I want another cuddle, I need a poo, are you still there? - and do you still love me? can we go bark at the Fox in the Garden? I need tucking in my Blankie, and I think I need a wee again ... ALL NIGHT LONG!!! ;oO
It's a good job we love her or I'd have returned her to the RSPCA far too many times over by now!

Morrisons Market Street Smoked Salmon Pate is the very best Smoked Salmon Pate to be bought anywhere in my humble opinion ...

And the little black furry cause of it all? ... Ohhh, she is 'restfully reclining' ... flat on her Back on the Sofa all snuggled up in a Furry Baby Blanket ... and is currently snoring so loud that her weary Sister has stomped off to snooze in peace in the Greenhouse while Mum does a bit of Gardening.
I'm dithering between knowing that I really do have to start getting ready to go to the Dentists and desperately wanting to just crawl back into Bed and sleep until Easter! ;o>

I hope he won't be too long in there? - I've got almost two hours to get ready but I already know now that I'll surely end up in running late at this rate.
I can't be doing with playing 'Chase Me' today so I've sent Dad in to deal with it! ;o>

Watching Masterchef and drooling. They’re cooking Chinese food in Hong Kong and apart from the pigeon, I just want to eat everything ;-)

Spiders are jumping out from everywhere at the moment here - although most of them are thankfully only small ones. I put some freshly tumble-dried Laundry over the Stair Banister on the Landing a few days ago and, barely just 10 minutes later, I walked past and was wondering what on Earth the big black splodge was on them? - until I took a much closer look! ... and I had one jump out from behind the Tea Caddy a few nights ago while I was brewing up ... and another half-fell/half-jumped out of my Blackout Roller Blind in my Bedroom the other day and it only missed landing on me by about a millimetre! ;oO

... and Chips? ;o>
