Hi Isabella. It is working fine for me re: posting. I am definitely not getting large pink boxes or gobbledegook! Have you tried updating your browser?
The only thing I am STILL having an issue with is the little red number of new posts indicator that shows on the main Amazon Exiles home board. There are a couple of threads it doesn't appear for: this one and "What Are You Hearing..." are the main one's for me.

Re not seeing new posts, miraculously I had a red new post on What Are You Hearing the other day. But it isn’t working now.

I am afraid that I have come to the very sad conclusion that, just like with the management and maintenance of the old Amazon Forums, these original website functions are probably intentionally being phased out by Goodreads ... as otherwise they would surely have worked hard on fixing all of these annoying and disruptive 'glitches' in the website system by now ;o<

I suspect you're right, Suzy and we're just not worth the effort of maintaining the system.

If you don't want to give out your card details on their website you can donate through Paypal (press Donate and type in OneKind).

I've been looking all over the site and the only way that I've found to donate is by entering card details and I really hate having to do that instead of using PayPal ;o<

Suzy, I contacted them and they gave me a link to their PayPal account. I tried putting it up on here but my details were there (DOH). On the PayPal UK website there is a button that says donate (it's for fundraisers and charities). When you press on it you type in OneKind. It's the only thing that comes up. They're based in Edinburgh and it's an orange logo.
Their email is info@onekind.org

Ohhh, I found It! ... YAYYY!!! ;o>
I don't have a button that says 'Donate' but that's actually no great surprise to me as I don't use a mobile phone or Apps on my Laptop and so I already know that I don't get offered the same kind of layout and access on my PC.
Instead I searched around PayPal and found a section on the Home page just underneath the 'Bank accounts and cards' section that says ' Your favourite charities'. I clicked on this and it took me to a page I had never used before ... https://www.paypal.com/fundraiser/hub
I started to type in OneKind and it immediately found it because this time it was only searching for charities with this name and not listing all of the companies and individuals all around the world like it always does when using the 'Send and Request' tab.

Thankyou, Suzy. Lauren from OneKind is going to speak to her colleagues tomorrow to see if they can get PayPal integrated into the website to make it easier. I've ordered from their online shop in the past. Must have used D's bank card though (shh! don't tell him) . 🤫

Oooooooh! ... does he never check through his Bank Statements and suddenly start wondering why on Earth he is being billed for things that he has never heard of and doesn't ever remember ordering?! ... LOL!!! ;o>
Does little Miss Snowdrop also use his Bank Card too?!! ;o> ...

I don't want her to get any 'good' ideas about using my Bank Card! ;o>

Collette, I have supported OneKind in the past and will make a donation next week, hopefully.

Mountain hares, Helen? I remember signing that petition away back after you'd posted about it. That's the first time I'd ever heard of OneKind. So many charities out there trying to stay afloat. It's a shame.

Hi, yes, I think maybe the Mountain Hares campaign was the first time I had heard of them and supported them. I have kept up with them since then but somehow missed this fundraising campaign. I will donate when I'm able in the next week or so - had a few additional expenses this month, birthdays, car ins was over £100 more than last year, kettle lid stopped opening and is unfixable & I decided to splash out on a new dualit which will hopefully last longer. There's always something!

I seem to have signed up for emails which is why I found out. Spoke nice to D about making a donation and he said ok.
Tell me about it. We bought a new Costway computer chair a couple of months back. Over £100 and neither of us like it. Took the arms off and it's still too big and clumsy (and sore on your backside even though it's padded), so that'll be our next thing. D's just happy I'm the one that chose it and not him.
