suzysunshine7 | 16038 comments Funny! - LOL!!! ;o>

It must be proving quite a challenge for so many folk right now to try and sort out specific dietary requirements, mustn't it? I'm even more glad now that I found 'Just Milk' and 'NDO Supplies' for us and passed the info on to a Neighbour - because I didn't know that all three of their Children were Lactose-Intolerant.

They couldn't manage to track down locally or work out how to get Home Deliveries of any suitable 'Milk' Products for over a fortnight - but are now on their fourth bulk-buy Order of Lactose-Free Just Milk and are saying that they are planning to keep on with buying it Online through them from now on ;o>

A lot of people haven't actually got special dietary requirements, they've just self diagnosed food intolerances, or have moralistic issues with certain food types.
I'd love to see only British or Irish grown food available for a period of a year or so. Try and be a Vegan then without importing your protein from foreign climes.

suzysunshine7 | 16038 comments Ohhh, I know. I've come across quite a few folk who certainly like to be on trend with the latest Food fads or Intolerances - my Dad's cousin has new Food Intolerance to report with every Christmas Card that we get off her - and within weeks she's given up on the new Diet and back to eating normally again with no obvious consequences at all of doing so - LOL!!! ;o>

I genuinely believe though that all of these Children have got severe Intolerances. I had forgotten all about it until recently but I remember now that all three of them have had very serious Digestive issues right from birth and the first two spent a lot of time in Hospital and their early years with Nasogastric Feeding Tubes in. It turned out that they couldn't tolerate Breast Milk.

Blastronaut | 1061 comments It's ok, it's ok everybody's saved! All we have to do is intravenously introduce a hit of Dettol to ourselves! Knock one up and slam it into that old mainline!! Job done. No more Covid 19.

I mean it's gotta be true; Don says so.

Blastronaut | 1061 comments Ah, wished I'd gone down that route Suze; my left arm detached itself (in no pleasant fashion) at the injection site before I'd even emptied the barrel of the syringe and is now sizzling and smoking away on the floor as I type. It hurts.

Damn you Don you lied to us!!!

Ok my bad. I used Domestos instead of Dettol.

You'd like these new pink sugary rat poison round blocks, they have a hole in the middle for fixing down with a nail. But you could thread them onto a skewer and barbecue them and slather in hot sauce.

Craig White | 6727 comments i'm glad you've went public with your....ahem....interests, gordon, but what to do is invite them in and let them bask in the afterglow with a couple of woodbines. the dude snail will likely make his excuses and shoot off (parp!) fairly quickly. the lady snail will wait on for a while to shower and to bitch about the dude......'it's not me it's him' kinda thing - gotta be done!

I have several photos on my phone of frogs mating. They can be at "it" for hours too, and multiple frogs, not just one on one, orgy galore.

suzysunshine7 | 16038 comments The latest on Morrisons Food Boxes ... well, they seem to have scrapped the (rather surprisingly) over-expensive Ready Meal Box and now have on offer ... the Vegetarian, the Meat Eater, the Ramadan Food and the Assorted Fish Box at £35 each ... and a Family Meat Box for £45, a Best Range Meat Box for £55, and a Gluten Free Food Box for £35.

I've thankfully been able to continue in managing to source all of what we most particularly want and need from elsewhere so far - but it nevertheless gives me great peace of Mind to know that these kinds of Boxes are available and are only just a Day and a quick Online Order or a Phone Call away ...

I actually managed to get an Ocado delivery on Tuesday for an 11PM to Midnight slot. The driver turned up at quarter past nine so it's a good job the driver slamming his van door woke me up!
Only one substitution too - one brand of unsalted butter for another.

message 6299: by suzysunshine7 (new)

suzysunshine7 | 16038 comments Well! ... I managed to get us an Asda Order! - so there!!! ;o>

... one with no Chicken, no Mince, no Bisto, no Oxo Cubes, no Porridge Oats, no tinned Fruit, no tinned Tomatoes, no Eggs, no Carrots, no Apples, no Bananas, no Salad Cream, no Weetabix, and no Cheese! ;oO

In fact, it really wasn't worth the poor Driver's time and effort in even bothering to turn up to deliver it, to be honest, but I still thanked him anyway and told him we'd be okay and not to worry about it. I actually felt more sorry for him than us as he genuinely looked quite upset as he put down just the one small Bag of Groceries inside of our Porch.

Luckily, I might still be able to get us a Priority Slot for an Iceland Delivery when our Email Link becomes active between 4 and 5pm today ... so? ... Fingers & Toes all crossed and here I go again!!! ;o>
