Pedants corner, I'm pretty sure that the plural of kin is the same as the singular 'kin':-)
You are right of course Derek, in trying to keep my code brief I did take a bit of a liberty there. I'd convinced myself that there would be a way of using 'kins' in a sentence somehow.
