:-) We weren't able to get up close but it was a very interesting and enjoyable experience

I would say that you're currently barking up the wrong tree. I'll add another code tomorrow, if it lasts that long.

Whoaa! I thought of them but where did 'alien' come from?
P.S. I also thought of 'Trump' but I don't suppose that's a band!!!

Anagram indicator,TB.

Anagram indicator, TB"
Could you elucidate. Is it the question mark that indicates the anagram and are incomplete anagrams allowed? Not sure I understand :-(

So, working backwards, you might not be sure it's an anagram, but have decided to fiddle with 'man fart' as a result of seeing the question mark, and come up with 'ant farm'. You know there's a band called 'Alien Ant Farm', and realise that 'Alien' is the anagram indicator, telling you that the letters are in an alien form.

so going to put my explanation out there anyway
say, for example the band 'Bad Manners' the code could simply be -
Mrs. Anne? (band)
you have to work out that the word that's missing(i.e.'Bad') might well be an anagram indicator
same with New Model Army could come up as
My Earldom? (band)
The question mark in cryptic crosswords just means to me that it's wordplay. So being as all our clues are wordplay the ? becomes meaningless in the end anyway :)

Haha! The 'My Earldom' one does look familiar tho :)

Whenever there is a brief sentence used as one of the codes then first off look for a possible anagram.
