Scott | 18310 comments What's the policy for primary author name on graphic novel adaptations of novels? The original author or the adaptor?

For example, The Graveyard Book Volume 1 & 2 have P. Craig Russell (who adapted the book) as the primary author, but The Graveyard Book has Neil Gaiman, the original author.

Krazykiwi | 1767 comments The Adapter should be the primary author, and they should be under that profile and not combined with the original.

Make sure to leave a really specific librarian note, and expect to have to go uncombine them and fix the attribution on a regular basis too (particularly with an author as popular as Gaiman) :)
