Jane Eyre on Broadway? Also a new retelling

I love retellings of Pride and Prejudice and other classics, but there aren’t nearly as many of Jane Eyre. My dad even took me to see the Broadway production of Jane Eyre when I graduated from high school, a few months before 9/11, so that one has always had a special place in my heart. Did anyone else here see that? Or maybe hear the soundtrack? I still love it when I’m in the right mood, but i’ve rarely met anybody else who even knows it was a musical on Broadway!

Anyway, if you enjoy classic fan fictions, especially Jane Eyre retellings, would you be willing to offer feedback on an excerpt from my own attempt to do a retelling? It’s called The Rise and fall of Jane, a contemporary retelling with a bit of magical realism.
