BetwixtThePages | 1 comments Hello

I’m brand new to goodreads and ereading. I’ve been very stubborn (vowing I will NEVER read off a screen) because I do prefer an actual book, but much to my chagrin, ereading is actually quite amazing.

I am a mood reader and enjoy many genres.

Some of my favorite authors are

Marion Zimmer Bradley
Diana Wynne Jones
Stephen King
Anne McCaffery
JK Rowling
Jane Austen
Shakespeare

Ben Keisler | 2134 comments Welcome BTP. You will find a wide variety of writers read and discussed here. Feel free to nominate a book for our monthly Group Read polls (1980 books are up for nominations this month but get it in quickly because the poll is going up soon) and it only takes one other member to agree to a Buddy Read. And you can find a list of all of our upcoming reads.

Cynda | 55 comments Hello All. I'm looking for an active group to read with. I see you have some books I could enjoy reading. Being of mature years, the 20th century is something I remember well and sometimes fondly.

Ben Keisler | 2134 comments Welcome, Cynda. We read a wide variety of books here. Our group reads are written in or about the 20th century but we do Buddy Reads of anything and everything.

Linda Martin (lindajm) | 1 comments Hello, I'm new here. I'm very active on Goodreads and excited about finding this group. I look forward to exploring 20th century literature with you.

I'm also a participant in YouTube's Booktube community. Aside from reading I garden and create folk art.

It seems that lately I've been reading more nonfiction than fiction but I'm hoping to get good fiction book suggestions from this group.

Cphe | 68 comments Hi all,

I'm not a prolific poster by any means but I do like to read.

Usually read from the Boxall 1000 books combined editions but the past 18 months has seen me drawn towards the Virago modern classics lists.
