They just casted the main lead in this film based on a book called the Fifth Wave. Seriously? This book came out a year ago and has substantially less fans than Legend, which was released in what, 2011 and has gathered a large following and has the potential to be an amazing film has yet to be made. CBS has the rights and yet nada. I mean Kudos to the author of that one book he or she must be very excited and I wish them tons of success! But I just don't understand why Legend hasn't moved forward. Man, if done right that movie would be amazing. I just want to see it on the big screen. I want to say one day, I'm going to go watch Legend. Will that day ever come?

Wait are they making a movie for the Fifth Wave or Legend?
I can't wait 4 the fifth wave. I just hope that it doesn't get dropped! that is what happened to this book.

Okay so before The 5th Wave was even out the rights to make a movie was already bought by (Jack Gyllenhaal's movie company I think?). As the book got even more popular and a lot of good buzz was circulating the novel the company decided that it would be in their best interest to make the film. But for Legend I have no idea why they aren't pushing forward with it. I think I heard something about how the script wasn't very good idk. But I do know that for a fact they canceled making the film for Legend, Marie Lu said that her self. In other book to film adaptation news they canceled turning Hush Hush into a film.
