Sara (saraphinasnape) | 19 comments Finished #2- Beastly
I started this audiobook about two years ago. Got it within two hours of finishing and did not ever go back to it. In joining the challenge I turned to my TBR audiobook List in audible and there it was. Hoping that meets the brief. If not, please ignore.

Also, has anyone read the rest of the series? I would like to continue but the reviews are not great on any of them. Thanks!

message 77: by Ashley (new)

Ashley (ashleycw) | 257 comments Read book 4 - The Shadow Cabinet (Shades of London, #3) by Maureen Johnson . Last read the series in March 2013.

message 79: by Jennifer (last edited Nov 27, 2017 11:06AM) (new)

Jennifer | 456 comments Finished books 4, 5, & 6
Shattered (The Iron Druid Chronicles, #7) by Kevin Hearne - Series not read 6+ months, also it is an adult read
Trickster's Choice (Daughter of the Lioness, #1) by Tamora Pierce - So, this one is a little tricky ;) the book itself was not on my TBR but rather the author was as hello, it's Tamora Pierce and I cannot believe I have waited this long to read anything by her! Good Lord, but that woman can write! I'm now trying to get my hands on the Lioness quartet. Loved, loved, loved this book!!!!!! I've also already found and read Trickster's Queen (Daughter of the Lioness, #2) by Tamora Pierce , and it was so good.
The Wrath and the Dawn (The Wrath and the Dawn, #1) by Renee Ahdieh - This book has been sitting on my shelf in my room for awhile now. As with a few other books I've read for this challenge I can't believe I put off reading this. I thought this book was amazing, and am currently taking a break from the challenge to read the second book :)

Thank you to this challenge for making me read books I have put off only to discover how amazing they are!

Also, I've updated post #6

message 80: by Diane (new)

Diane | 1234 comments Congrats for finishing the Challenge Jennifer. I have not read Tamora Pierce either but did recently pick up Trickster's Choice and Trickster's Queen real cheap for kindle so this gives me the motivation to get on them real soon. Thanks for telling us what you thought of them.

message 81: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 456 comments Diane,
I hope you enjoy the Trickster duology as much as I did. Pierce's world building and characters are fantastic. The first book was a quicker read than the second book as Trickster's Queen had that heavier feel to it. But both were fantastic. I think I read both of them within a few days.

message 82: by Diane (new)

Diane | 1234 comments Yeah I was thinking of starting them next week and after reading what you just wrote I am enthusiastic about it.

message 83: by Sara (new)

Sara (saraphinasnape) | 19 comments I just finished Matched. So that makes #3. I’ve never read so much so fast in my life. This one I had started back in Jan/Feb and read about halfway through then got busy and never went back to it. Glad I finished it and will continue the story.

I’ll tag the book when I get to a computer. App on phone won’t let me do that.

message 84: by Kdbrand (last edited Nov 29, 2017 04:52PM) (new)

Kdbrand | 353 comments I’m very excited that I finally read The Storyteller by Antonia Michaelis --#5, from our group bookshelf. Since I've owned this book for several years, I feel like this was a major accomplishment!

message 85: by laurel [the suspected bibliophile] (last edited Dec 08, 2017 09:54AM) (new)

laurel [the suspected bibliophile] (laurelthereader) Finished book 3. My goodness I'm dying on this one (lots of books came out in the fall and I was like OOOOOOOOH MY PRECIOUS for each one).

Sandry's Book (Circle of Magic, #1) by Tamora Pierce (TBR).

I hope this counts. I read it when it first came out, maybe a couple years later (soooo like, 16-20 years ago? I dunno I didn't keep book read lists back then. Bad Laurel), and I didn't particularly like it. But Tamora Pierce is coming out with a new Tortall book in February so I was like, let's take a trip down memory lane! And read the Circle of Magic books since I never read the last trilogy in the series.

message 86: by Gabriela (new)

Gabriela I've finished two more so far: #3 Uprooted by Naomi Novik (TBR) and #4 If I Should Die (Revenants, #3) by Amy Plum (Series).
