Ich edited an entry about a book and corrected a spelling mistake in the name. Thus the author was automatically combined with the author of the same name, but it's another person. How can I separate the German author Thomas Harlan (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...) from the American Thomas Harlan who lives in Tucson (https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...)?

We separated author with the same name by adding extra spaces between their name, so the American author is Thomas^Harlan (with ^= space) And the German is Thomas^^Harlan. I moved the book to the other profile.
Interesting, I too also have that issue with my own name. There is another Michelle Carey, her books are technical, while mine are African American romance. Can these be separated too?
they could.it's always helpful if you provide links to the books we should move
removed three (with their editions, but wasn't exactly sure about the other two)

Here are my books: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...
Everything else belongs to the other Michelle Carey

#8 moved them all(if that happens to frequently you can ask support to give you another than the current default profile (all automatic imported books go there, that is why they are suddenly in your profile))
