Nominations open for November 2017 group read

Now that our read for October has been decided, it's time for everyone to nominate a book for our November 2017 read.

We are doing something a little different for 2017 monthly reads. Starting with January's read we are working our way backward in publication years :)

So - nominate a crime/mystery/thriller/suspense book which was published in 2006 for our November read. True crime or cosy mysteries are included in this :)

NOTE: Only the beginning of a series (if a series) please :)

I just discovered this book while looking for something else, and I think it would qualify. Triptych (Will Trent #1) by Karin Slaughter, published in 2006. Mind you, I don't have access to a copy myself (yet).

I'm loving that TV series on ABC, David. Is there such a thing as Scottish noir? If so, this definitely qualifies! (I have to turn on the subtitles to understand some of the dialogue!!)
