Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse?



I see that's too new, but maybe an earlier book in the series has her dressed the same way?

There is an earlier version of Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse too. And that last picture of the mouse on the cover looks like the one on that horse!

That mouse on the horse is definitely Kevin Henkes' Lilly. Lilly first appears in Chester's Way which was published in 1988. Henkes has an earlier female mouse named Sheila Rae, but she is brown (1987)
The first Henkes mouse book is (1986)
