it does get better i promise. i just recently finished this. i found a lot of times most of the characters were annoying or not likeable but eventually things do turn around.

Chapter 7 - 14 (got caught up so I stopped counting):
(view spoiler)[Alright... this was... something. I don't know what to say because I had a hard time to stop reading. It was very gripping since the last time I updated. The main problem I still have with this book is still there - I hate ALL of the characters - everyone, even that kid. I mean, I really do sympathize with Merit but she is not innocent at all as well. That family is just crazy!

Writing style is fantastic though and I really enjoy CoHo's style. I don't like when there is too much drama and this book... screams drama. I am quite surprised by the things all the people did and I don't think it's okay. I'm glad things got better with Utah - eventhough it was terrible what he did, he had his reasons for it and that's okay. I just can't still understand Honor. I hate this character, especially in the moment when she was like "Why didn't Utah kiss me instead of my sister? WHY, HONOR, WHY."

So... yeah. I still don't like characters but storyline got better and I quite enjoy the drama. (hide spoiler)]

@Vendea glad you are liking it a little better. it does seem like every character has some sort of flaw or issue and most of them are in their own little worlds. this family has sooo many secrets it is crazy and how they chose to finally confront each other about them... won't say anything else so i don't get spoilery, but yah the story really drew me in and i enjoyed it even though it was about some pretty heavy and emotional issues.

Chapter 15 - till the end:
(view spoiler)[Wow. Just after I ranted about this book so much and about characters... it got... totally different. I enjoyed this last part a lot. Even characters and that says something! Everything clicked together and made sense now. I am still not a fan of Voss family (hope it's the right name xD) but I can sympathize with them now.

And those mental issues... well portrayed. It was very emotional,
it was deep and I was lost. I am also liking the fact that the romance in this book was believable and totally not insta-lovey-dovey. In the end, I really enjoyed this book. There are still parts I cannot forget and it's not my most fave book by Colleen,

The characters were great, although they did make me feel annoyed every so often. I think this was a great story, but not as great as other books I have read from Colleen Hoover. You may not be able to do it in the app. You can however go into your web browser and visit Goodreads that way to have the reply/edit etc buttons the same way as on a PC. The apps are missing a lot of functions that you get going through the webpage.
