If I Stay was great. I just finished The Line by JD Horn and it was surprisingly good. I'm just starting The Source which is the second in his series called Witching Savannah

I ended up buying the Kindle version and read it in one sitting. Started in the afternoon and finished it a 5 a.m. 5 star book if ever I've read one! Loved everything except the way it ended.
Currently reading the 3rd book of Guy Gavriel Kay's "Fionavar Tapestry". I've been meaning to dig into some of Kay's work for a while; so far it's pretty good.
I'm currently reading
. Haven't read it since 2010 and with the movie coming out in a month, I thought it be good to refresh my memory.

I've run across several comments about If I Stay. What did you like about it? I may add it to my TBR list.

Then when a favorite scene isn't in the movie, I don't get disappointed. I can enjoy the movie more as just a movie than as a book I loved adapted.
I'm currently reading the labyrinth of time by T.W. Fendley. I don't think it's published yet. YA fantasy and interesting so far.
Hello Kathy- Tale of Atlantis sounds like something I'd like to read. Could you or if anyone else knows please let me know who the author is-
"Orbit" by John J. Nance. Haven't read anything by him yet.

It is good so far. A routine passenger flight into low orbit becomes not-too-routine. Lots of action and th author has bothered to do his tech homework.

Monster Hunter International : Nemesis (5th in the series)An interesting and modern take on the Frankenstein Monster. If a person is truly animated by the soul, then what animated the Frankenstein Monster?

Do you find Joe Hill like Stephen King or good on his own?

His story ideas, somewhat, but his writing, no. I think he's probably gone through a lot to not "sound" like his dad in in his work.
I think Joe's writing is a lot like his dad's, only with a much better sense of humor, and with more current tastes and sensibilities.

I'll bet it's hard to be the child of someone so successful, especially if you decide to follow the same career path. I'm going to give his first book a try.
I'm currently reading Close Your Eyes, Hold Hands, and I usually really like Chris Bojhalian's books. This narrator though, a teenage girl making one horrible decision after another in the wake of tragedy, isn't holding my sympathy (or interest) the way I wish she would.
Last night I bought The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss only to find this morning that I was given it in 2012 by a friend and it has been sitting in a pile of other books waiting to be read. Aaarrrggghhh!!!!! The good news is that I am reading and enjoying it either way.
Donald wrote: "Currently reading the 3rd book of Guy Gavriel Kay's "Fionavar Tapestry". I've been meaning to dig into some of Kay's work for a while; so far it's pretty good."I loved that series. I just dug it out of my bookcase to lend to a friend yesterday.
Band of Angels by Robert Penn Warren. Set during the civil war, the book has a fantastic concept - the main character is unaware that her dead mother was a slave until she herself is sold into slavery upon her father's passing. However, I'm not really enjoying the writing itself, which surprises me, given the author. Anyone else read it?
Started The Seven Sisters: A Novel by Lucinda Riley. Got it from the library and it is a big old beast to lug around....wish I had downloaded it to my kindle. However am really enjoying it so far, it got masses of 5 stars.
I have ventured into a new genre for me and am reading some dark erotica. The book is Port Royal by V.W. Singer, I'm loving it so far!
I just finished the above - an Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award winner. And I can't believe how bad it is! Nothing new or fresh or intriguing or thrilling or mysterious. Certainly not breakthrough in any way. Moreover, the author must have been born after 1978 because she seems to confuse the 70's with the 50's. I can not imagine how this book won anything.
Currently reading Edgar Rice Burroughs' "Tarzan of the Apes."
Currently reading the books of blood by Clive barker. I absolutely love his writing. Kind of curious as to what I should read next by him, as he seems to write a lot very different types of stories
Just finished Tom Clancy's Op Center: War of Eagles.

If you want to avoid some spoilers (though it's pretty general) just read the first and last paragraphs.

Currently reading The Passion byJeanette Winterson, an author I've been wanting to read for a long time. An interesting lady with an intriguing voice, I think.
