Wow, Elyse - 997 pages is fantastic! (I'm like you - can't 'cheat' on page counts either ;) It seems you found a good balance between reading and sleeping. I've never been able to do the whole 24 hours and have given up trying.
Hopefully the stars will align so I can participate next time. I missed hanging out with all of you!

Oh yes sleep is precious. I've made it 24 hours ONCE. lol. I can usually get about 20 but I couldn't this time around. Ah well. Hoping to see you next time!

I'm also not likely to get up at the crack of dawn, so it's more like wake up whenever Saturday and read until 1 in the night.

Oh eww yeah I wouldn't stay up until or wake up at 1am either!

but I'll be joining in this reverse readathon because readathon is something i always like:)

Welcome!

I'll look forward to seeing what you read.

Oh no, hate when it's here but the mood is not. Maybe your brain will surprise you and you'll suddenly get excited as it draws closer. I hope so anyway, and that it helps gets your mind off everything going on

It's supposed to be fun, participate as much or as little as you like! I hope you enjoy the IG thon!

Yes, you're right!

Even if we weren't traveling, I love my sleep too much to give it up! lol.

That's what I'm hoping, that I can just turn off my brain and escape!

Thanks! Yeah, I'm trying not to force myself or pressure myself. It IS supposed to be fun!

Thanks Leni! I think I'm just going to stick with a handful of graphic novels. Pictures will probably help!

Impressive, Elyse!
See you in October!

Thanks Susy!

Glad you’ll be back! It wouldn’t seem like the Readathon without you. Drat that COVID for squelching your reading mojo. The board game seems like a good way to get back in. I’ll have to remember that

Oh thank you Susan! Yes, I come back to see familiar faces mostly now! OG crew!

Thank you, Leni, getting there! Mostly just have a lingering cough now. Glad to be getting my focus back. Yes, absolutely! 😊

Ugh it sucked. But definitely a mild case which I'm thankful for. My brother and his family had it and gave it to me and our parents, and then I gave it to my husband. So good times. lol.

Thanks Leni! It was so nice to only juggle physical books and just a handful. No page count acrobatics! lol
