For what happened with that little boy and for never being able to feel human touch the way it should be felt. The love, compassion, friendliness - even just a hand shake. I can't imagine a young girl not being able to be hugged by her mother or being completely ostracized by her whole school. Moving around just for it to start all over again. While I know things are good in the outside world we still don't know too much about it, hopefully questions will be answered somewhere along the line. I mean its awesome, but I'm still feeling a little lost as far as whats going on in the outside world. (hide spoiler)]

The "a bit guy carried me and told me to look for you" story isn't really convincing me, but I'm not sure how he knows where Adams seemingly well hidden home is - theres obviously more to that! I have to say though that I love Kenji's sense of humor - he is definitely one of the more fun characters in the book. Juliette was able to locate Adam amongst all the chaos and it seems that she found him just in time as he was deteriorating pretty rapidly. Where is Kenji taking them? (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 1-15: (view spoiler)[Well a bunch of stuff has happened and from the way Juliette and Adam are acting, well mostly Adam, I have a feeling they are going to break up. There really shouldn't be secrets between two people in a relationship.

I'm also kind of getting sick of Juliette always apologizing. She needs to just go with the flow and if something bad happens she should just own it.

I don't know how I feel about Castle right now. I don't really understand what they are researching or what they are putting people through while in those rooms. Maybe I'll understand more of it later on in the book? Hopefully?

I love Kenji. He is hilarious and in love with himself. He's a great comedic relief between Juliette whining and Adam brooding.

The whole Adam not looking at her or talking to her about things is really bugging me too. That is why I have a feeling they are going to break up.

And I totally called it because Juliette has come to her senses and broke up with him. Or at least tries to break up with him...but somehow got distracted by Adam. And then she accidentally hurt him but in reality he should've just accepted her break up. So I don't blame her.

She doesn't want to see him hurt anymore because that's all she does to him. To people. Hurt them. So people shouldn't be mad at her for what she didn't mean to do. She tried to make things right by forever protecting him by not being with him. Adam is completely stubborn.

I'm also really interested in what Juliette can actually do power-wise. Because even she doesn't even know or understand her powers. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 16-30: (view spoiler)[Okay so things have been super awkward between Adam and Juliette but I'm kind of happy that they aren't together anymore. I'm really hoping that Juliette becomes less annoying too. And Adam too because he is annoying me as well.

I like her friendship with Kenji even though I have a feeling that he is afraid of Juliette which makes me sad. It's not like she is going to use her power to hurt any of them... at least not on purpose. Unless it's Castle.. I would pay to see that happen.

Then the whole Warner thing where he sees Juliette but doesn't really because Kenji made her invisible. I wonder if Warner has the same power as Adam or something completely different. I still want to understand why and how he can touch Juliette.

Juliette also gets to go on a little errand with some people. They were shocked that she talked to them because she always keeps to herself. But I think that's just because of how she grew up. She's so accustomed to acting like this around groups of people because of how she grew up.

Aside from all of the other crazy shit that is going on around them. I love Juliette's friendship with James. He is such a sweetheart and he tries to protect her from other kids who say she is mean and hurts people. But she only hurt two people on accident and had her power used against her for bad people for bad reasons. She had no other choice. James also figured out that they broke up: Adam and Juliette and realizes that that's why Adam is sad all the time. But then again he did keep stuff from her like all the time and if I was in Juliette's shoes I wouldn't want to be with someone or in a relationship where I'm constantly hurting the other person. What's the point of being in a relationship then?!?

Chapters 31-45: (view spoiler)[WOW okay. So a lot of shit has gone down and I feel like maybe I should only really talk about how Adam's dad who everyone thought was dead is actually alive...and...wait for it....he's Warner's dad.

WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!

I'm shook. 100% shook people.

I can't believe that's the twist I've been thrown.
And now I understand how both Warner and Adam can touch her..and now I'm wondering if James can too?!? Or does he have a different dad?

I'm so confused. I feel like I might be overthinking things now.

Oh, and to top it all off...NO ONE KNOWS THAT WARNER CAN TOUCH JULIETTE OTHER THAN YA KNOW JULIETTE.

And shit is going to hit the fan when people start figuring that shit out. Adam will probably be even more upset and probably realize that he has another brother.

Okay so Warner and Adam get in a fight.
Kenji and Juliette get in between them to stop them from being idiots.
Juliette accidentally touches Kenji.
Kenji goes down instantly.
Juliette freaks out because the fight distracted her so much that she forgot to put her gloves on before she left her room.

I'm freaking out because I read the two novellas before this so I sort of already knew that there was an accident for Kenji. And that Juliette was the reason and 100% responsible for it. Well that's what everyone thinks. Juliette thinks it was Warner who hurt him. She wont tell anyone though because she already thinks she is a monster.

My heart is breaking. Juliette is becoming less annoying.
So is Adam. I miss Kenji's comedic relief. Warner is suspicious as fuck to me. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 1-16: (view spoiler)[Okay, so Juliette wakes up and finds out that she is still with Warner and that she is healed. However, when she wakes up she is thinking about what happened to everyone else. Warner tells her that everyone is dead. That his dad killed everyone. They blew up the place. Juliette doesn't know how to process this.

Juliette still wants to seek her revenge on his dad. And I agree and appreciate that.

Kenji finds Juliette and freaks out that she is alive while I'm freaking out about their reunion. I'm happy that he went out to go and find her. I'm happy that he did find her. Kenji is mad that she is with Warner, but she honestly thought they were all dead, and Kenji wants to kill Warner for murdering tons of his people.

Warner wants to take down Castle because he knew that he was sending people on a mission to be slaughtered. Juliette believes him and 100% agrees. I'm happy that someone is finally noticing how crazy Castle really is. Can somebody please kill him? Oh, and don't forget Warner's dad too.

Edited version: Sorry misunderstood who he wanted to take down!! It's his dad that Warner wants to take down. Juliette also wants to help. I think Warner was just mad that Castle sent his people into a battle where they would lose so many of his people.

Kenji tells Juliette everything that has happened since she was captured. And Juliette tells Kenji everything that has happened to her. And now he knows that Warner is in love with Juliette.
I'm sort of happy that there are no more secrets, I guess,
between these two and how he now knows that Juliette didn't hurt him before and it was actually Warner. He handles it way better than I handled it when I read it in the previous book. My mind was completely blown and Kenji acts like nothing is wrong.

But then the tables turn when Juliette starts to defend Warner and how she hasn't asked how Adam is. And of course Kenji gives her shit for it. Which I loved. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 17-32: (view spoiler)[UGH THE WHOLE LOVE TRIANGLE THING IS MAKING MY BRAIN HURT.

I don't know or care on who Juliette ends up with. Adam, who was a sweet guy in the first book has turned into a raging asshole in this book. He has said things to Juliette that he shouldn't have said all because he was butt hurt. He can't take those words back and I feel so bad for Juliette because she just stood there taking every word without flinching or crying. Man, I wanted to cry for her and then punch him in the face repeatedly.

Then there's Warner who was a crazy psycho in the beginning and then turns into a guy that is always there for Juliette no matter what. Because he loves her.

But you know what.. Juliette said she loved Adam and never said those words to Warner. But since they both love her and can touch her she doesn't know how or what to feel about them. They are complete opposites. I'm confused as to who should end up with her...but then again, I also don't care who she does end up with. As long as she's free, happy, and no longer acting like a baby who whines constantly .. I'm good.

I feel bad that she left all her friends at Adam's house but Adam was an asshole. He wanted her out of the house. So she left. I hate how he treated her while she was there. UGH. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 33-48: (view spoiler)[So everyone leaves Adam's house to come to where Juliette and Warner are. They train every day. Juliette isn't dating Warner nor Adam at this point. She doesn't know what she feels for Warner but she knows that her and Adam will not work. Yeah, they loved each other but they aren't going to grow and help each other if Adam loves who she used to be and Juliette doesn't want to be that girl anymore. She wants to grow and change.

Kenji is still funny and I absolutely love him. I'm glad that he is still training with Juliette. I like that he got Adam and James to come join everyone because he doesn't want them to die.

I wonder what's going to happen now. Are they going to go after Warner's dad? Is Warner's mom still alive? (hide spoiler)]

Juliette says she loves Warner. She loves him. And then things escalate so freaking quickly.



Oh besides all of that gooey romantical stuff, Juliette now knows how to control her power. Which is amazing!! I'm proud of her. Ohhhhh and she somehow has gotten less annoying since then. I feel like her being Warner makes her less annoying as well.

They somehow, mostly Juliette, convinces the re-establishment army that works underneath Warner to help them take it down from the inside. Now everyone is trying to figure out that he has a different last name than his dad.

OMG now they know that Adam and Warner are brothers. Well Warner now knows. Adam has known. Everyone has known. Well maybe James doesn't know? (hide spoiler)]

I'm so freaking happy that HE is dead now. Anderson is dead. Warner's dad is dead. Adam's dad is dead. Jamie's dad is dead.

Juliette is awesome. She did it. She took down the re-establishment. I'm so proud of my little caterpillar because she has turned into a less annoying butterfly. More independent and stronger too.

AND NOW I HAVE TO WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR FOR THE NEXT BOOK?!?!
How can I live life like this? I don't know how I can wait for that long...

I am listening to it now on audio and it's hard to figure out her strikethroughs when she writes - so I am thinking reading physical copies of the other 2 would be better now - I did enjoy Adam's brother he was adorable (I'm to the part again where they just got to his place and they're meeting, etc.) I wonder if my thoughts on the overall book will change at the end or if I'll still give it a 3* (hide spoiler)]

See, I am 26 and don't really have a lot to do other than read. Lol. So a lot of my time is already spent reading either Kindle or physical.

I only have like a 7 minute drive to work. So there really isn't any time that I'd need to read because of the time frame to do something being really long. Ya know? That's why I'm so skeptical about it. I don't want to pay for it if I'm not actually going to use it.

Since never having read Destroy Me the first time I read the series, this look into Warner’s mind is perfect because it ties so much of the story together. (hide spoiler)]
