Oh we both have these bright ideas...although my dastardly plans for Laura were puny & tactical and ended with heckling and mind games while the Dark Priest went all vast and strategic with the creation of a whole new faction.

Of course that had to have meant I made the 25 comment minimum within that time ;-) but I think I did that on the welcome thread itself. One could rattle my poxy completion stats in my face but these ppl are nice, you notice that under the guise of arsekicking and spitfacery they will actually push you towards the finish line + you know everything's better shared n yada yada...
Even better, before I joined this group I was what...a steady 50-75 pages a day plodder/potterer? But now, despite all the mouthing off and goofing arnd, I'm getting thru a hundred pages or so purely xcuz everyone else reads so much faster and I wanna talk to them. I'm actually reading faster and more. I'm logging my reads better. I'm deffo learning a lot abt different series + my reading palate is refining itself almost without my knowing.

Not that you need any of these things...xcuz you easily read, what, double of me...on any given day? You're really good in a book discussion too..you don't get distracted by fun n games, like me. Any team would be lucky to have you but you ****ASK FOR MEEEEEE.
Plus if its this much fun before the damn thing even starts...imagine how it'll be once the points and bird feathers start flying.

I second @Siobhan. You should come, Anni. There's still abt four or five ppl reading on that thread (thank G for me) some are only abt a hundred pages in and you can easily catch up. It's a really sparkly discussion too, this time xcuz so many ppl were reading. Who knows if you'll find such a fun lot of peeps + or when the next cycle will start? Plus I think the reads are open-ended so they are more inclusive. Besides, everyone in this grp is really cool abt stopping by for a chat whenever someone posts. Nobody is left alone to languish in the dark. Someday we'll return the favour to anyone who needs it. Is all.
Come on, gal, strap on the skates. We really REALLY want you to read Abercrombie with us + *selfish motive*...I'm still there, see?

@Manu...points are easy, and depend on page count. Like I'm shyte with numbers and still could understand + your team lead is in charge of the points tally and will be on hand to double check.
This is all there in the rules thread. Me I'm hopelessly fogged about the challenges...Some of them are like wtf...huh? Ima take some time in December to actually lookit them.
Regarding slumps...re-reads count + everyone has them + there's me your friendly neighbourhood Ootchie Cootchie. We'll kick the slumps in the bells, don't you spazz.
Oh and BRs count for like double the points I think but only if you comment on the thread...actually don't listen to me, Manu...I'm all mixed up and mindfunked...you read the rules thread.

Also, @Niki waits until a bunch of ppl sign up and does some maths stuff (i dunno) to assign ppl to diff teams. A bunch of ppl just signed up in the last coupla days so you should also add your name so that she can just conveniently do the yucky math once, I think
