I separated the full length book from the smaller .pdf. Can another more experienced librarian review the below.
Book size pub 9/19/2017 https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio... Of note, the titles loaded in that way even though the cover does not say those exact words. The only edits I did to title was add "TMP" so I could find them. okay to leave title as is or must I change to match cover?

123-page, pdf https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio... IS IT EVEN OKAY TO HAVE ON GRs?
1- https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... looks good except clicking on amazon takes you to the full length book.
2- https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... (should we merge with 1? There appears to be nothing entered for this edition)
3- https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... (merge with 1? There appears to be nothing entered for this edition)
4- https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... (Image and desc added by a user recently but no other real details. The desc describes #1 but the photo looks like the full length book. What to do? I think merge with 1 due to description match)
5- https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... (leave combined with 1 - Russian edition)
6- https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... (merge with 1? there is nothing entered about this edition)
crossed out successfully merged editions
--------------------------
Added librarian notes to avoid combining in future

fyi I asked for someone to see if they could make #5's desc be russian here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

This is the pdf, but it still has an "Amazon" link which goes to the book. The url link to the pdf is more accurate, but it looks like bridgewater set that link to now redirect to principles.com.
"Other Editions" shows a link to the book. These two items aren't editions of the same thing. As I indicated in my original post, saying these are the just different editions are like saying the cliff notes are an "edition" of the original book.
Recommendations:
A. Remove the amazon link since it's not a link to the pdf, but a different prodcut.
B. Remove the pdf URL as it doesn't go to the pdf anyway.
C. Remove the "Editions" link between these two.
Here's the book link for your quick reference:

I think this edition https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... (formerly known as msg3 #4) was left because it has paperback in the format field, a cover and a description. The listing was created in April of 2016 which is before the "book" came out (9/2017). So, did someone mistakenly put paperback in that field in April, 2016 or is there a paperback version out there somewhere? Did someone put the wrong cover on there due to the pdf vs. book confusion? (cover and desc added 9/2017) I have no way to know and cannot fix it myself.
I'm going to bow out, I got you most of the way there but GR staff or a more experienced volunteer librarian will have to finalize things.

It's still in hardback.
Richard wrote: "That's correct. Please remove the paperback edition completely. As you can see, there's no paperback offered: ..."
Msg 7 was regarding the original .pdf https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio... I was explaining why that "paperback" version was left.
Fellow Librarians: we need someone to make the call to merge this https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... into https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... or pronounce it's not to be done.
In summary if you don't want to back read, a full book came out with the same title as a much smaller .pdf. They were all combined, Richard reported and I separated them out (see msg 3) Some did get merged but this "paperback" got left behind. I believe it is an error (see msg 7) and should be merged into the primary .pdf but I have no solid evidence to back that up and no power to make that call. (There are also left over questions in msg3 -bolded- that could still be answered)

These are two distinct books being lumped into one.
In 2011 Ray Dalio wrote "Principles" as a 3-part, 123-page, pdf for his employees.
His more recent book, "Principles", published this moth, of 592 pages, while under the same name and covering the same topics, namely Ray's life and business principles, they are different in both scope and depth.
I have both versions, and have spent considerable time studying the former and just completed reading the later. The later starts with a memoirs section where Ray details his live and the development of his business business starting from 1949 to present day, a significant section which isn't contained in the pdf.
Additionally, the pdf doesn't come close to exploring the depth of the principles in examples or explanation, as the book does. The pdf reads more like an outline of the principles, where the book contains all the details (and his life story).
Saying Dalio's pdf and published book are the same, only different editions, would be like saying the cliff notes, which also has whole sections of the notes removed, of any book is the same as the actual book itself.
Imagine you write a draft of a book, just it's outline and a little meat, release it to your peers for review, and then 6 years later have added entirely new sections, reorganized what you had written, and added almost 6 times as much content, and then formally published it.
Would you want us to consider these are both the same? Would you want your readership who obtained that early draft to think they had read your actual book?
My recommendation is to take all Sep '17 editions as editions of the same book, and the prior work as a separate book (ebook).
If it would help for me to clearly list these two groups, let me know, I'll be happy too.
